The Scala Wiki could be an immediate place to start, but I suspect
something more specialized would be more appropriate.
I wonder whether error codes, or regex matching would be better? I
think we could certainly subcategorize "type error; found: ...; required
..." messages where the two types relate to each other in some way with
regexes. This would not require any change to the compiler, but would
be less maintainable if error messages were to change (even slightly).
I shall think some more about this, but I'd be happy to set a site up
alongside the Scala Wiki for this purpose. Any further ideas are most
welcome.
Cheers,
Jon
