You should check vacuum & petrol hoses along w/ the rubber carb caps for cracking also. Good luck, please keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks for the replies. I forgot to say that the bike is a 1200. I did notice that number four carb has a little gas on the outside of the bowl. It may have a sticky float. I am in the Kansas City area and it is too hot right now to mess with it. Poppa Jack I'll try that vacuum hose trick first chance I get. It looks like I will have to take the tank off to get to the problem.
