Yes, there was a real tape fix applied to the daily snapshots about a
month ago. Fixed a timing issue that does not affect virtual tapes in
a disk file.

I realize that Hercules is available in frequent (daily?) packages/snapshots, but unless there is a good reason to think hat a recent snapshot has a fix, I tend to shy away.
