Hector, please pay close attention to that IBM web site; IBM is putting
in a lot of effort right now to make running Linux on the mainframe
(with or without z/VM) as efficiently as they can. The Device Drivers
..... doc gets updated several times a year now, so this is certainly an
active area of work.
