I believe that this is an operating system deletion, so I think your
only recourse to get those files would be to use a system-level file
undelete utility. You'd be looking for a file in your personal gramps
directory, inside a grampsdb subdirectory. The files are yet in
another subdirectory with a name such as "4a8cb3ab".

Of course, if you have an XML, GEDCOM, or even a NarrWeb website
report output, you could reimport the data into a new tree.

If you seriously want to recover the data you must stop using the
partition with your home drive immediately. This means stop booting
into that Windows environment. Let us know if you plan to try and
recover the file, it's actually easier on windows than on linux!
