I tried both r8169 & r8168, without success !!!
I googled for the 8168 and 8169 NICs and I saw that the RTL 8168 seems to be based on a 8111 chip, as the RTL 8169 seems to be based on a 8110 chip.
In fact, my NIC is a 8201CL.
Furthermore, this NIC is a 10/100 Mbits card while 8111 and 8110 chips are 1 Gbits cards.

FreeBSD Device Driver for NVIDIA nForce Network Adapter refers to the correct driver for this NIC ? If yes, could this driver be added (when you can, of course...)
