Matt offered:

I guess you haven't driven on 81 in a while.

[Dave]  81 where / when ?  I rode 66 to 64 last month and there wasn't
anything worth writing home about.  I avoid OC for this very reason.  That,
and Billy Don Schaeffer thinks it's a toilet ;-)

I've seen some of my most head shaking cop tricks on 50 headed to O.C.
Were they using the bucket truck this time?  How about the broken down
pickup truck / pursuit vehicle?  Last time I was there an MSP cop came
across the 50 median -- AT SPEED -- hit the pavement of 50 - headed the
wrong direction - in front of traffic, spins the car which is now in my rear
view, roars past me to a cage a few lengths up & pulls them over.  The guy's
speed was unremarkable, and it was just some average cage, not a corvette
going 100...

Making the free state safe for terrorists...

Dave

Just came back from an overnight at Ocean City. Must have seen at least a
dozen cops by the side of the road arranging for donations from motorists -
predominantly on the Eastern Shore and predominantly unmarked vehicles.

I don't think that I've seen that much activity in Virginia all year. What
gives with Maryland?
