Well, it's a challenge to be sure. The core team does not frequently
communicate plans on the ruby-core list, so we sometimes find out
about things after the fact. And being a little resource-limited, it's
hard for us to track everything.

What we've always hoped is that RubySpec would become the
clearinghouse of all Ruby features, and we could rely on it to guide
development. In actuality, we end up spending a lot of time monitoring
commits and reading C code to see where Ruby is going.
