No, actually, I want 1.5, 1.7, and B20 to all work on the same machine
at the same time.  Is that too much to ask?

Don't forget 1.3.  For complete compatibility they all need to  
work .... in the same way.

  Of course not!  I'll add "Cygwin hypervisor" to the end of my TO-DO list at
once!
