I just feeled that i had to ask because if you click on the link for the
SIP CVS ( http://siptoolbox.sourceforge.net/devel/ )
you get redirected to http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=68055 where
you can find info how to connect as anonymous, as long as the admin
allows it. This is why i asked. I hoped there would be a direct way to
gain the information.
 I 'll download the current version SIP-dev 0.4.0-rc2-alpha3 released,
from the development site, it should be sufficient for my purposes.

Hi,

please try CVS again.

Here are direct instructions:

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@...:/cvsroot/siptoolbox login

(just type <enter> at password prompt)

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@...:/cvsroot/siptoolbox
co -P siptoolbox

AND, FOR ANIMAL (SIP's C backend):

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@...:/cvsroot/siptoolbox
co -P animal

AND, FOR SIMPLE (A very simple toolbox, TRY TO PORT THIS FIRST!):
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@...:/cvsroot/siptoolbox
co -P simpletoolbox


tell us whether everything worked,
