I had a look around for other options.

The "Tango!" Icon Gallery looks interesting.

Another good set is located at: http://sweetie.sublink.ca/ which is
licensed under the Creative Commons license, this site also provides the
photoshop documents so it is possible to re-colour or change the icons.

I like them, and there are plenty of choices of navigation icons there,
but
no admonishment graphics: which is what we need for PDF generation.
