I will. :) It will be a little while before I can get to it, but I
will definitely be trying it, and I'll share whatever I come up with.
I managed to single out premultiply() as responsible for almost 50% of
the "image loading" time for one class of objects in my code, so it's
a prime candidate for optimization...I just have some more pressing
features and bug fixes to address before I can attend to optimizing
it.
(It's amazing how much devil there is in the littlest details of
graphics applications, eh?)
