Hi Matej,

rms had nothing against your proposal, but he didn't think we should try
to codify something in advance of having actual experience with it.  So
I've forwarded it to the GNU maintainers and encouraged them to try it
out in their projects if they find it useful.  Then we'll see how it
goes.

Makes perfect sense. An early suggestion needs much more elaboration
before adoption. :)
