You may have the wrong IP address or port.
I assume the same PC and IPV4 so IP address
should be: 127.0.0.1
Do not use localhost on new systems because they
may default to IPV6 ::1 unless you update your
HOSTS file.
I assume the port is: 3270
but it is what you have for CNSLPORT in your
Hercules configuration file.
After the first screen, old Hercules required
Reset followed by Clear, Attn, or Sysreq to get
to the second screen. It may need two or three
times of Reset/Clear, Reset/Attn, or Reset/Sysreq?
Then assuming you are using Tur(n)key #3, enter:
