understand it.
I've raised the issue on the Ubuntu forums to see if anyone else can
solve this problem. If I get any positive feedback I'll be sure to let

It really doesn't matter which environment you're running. Tellico is a
KDE application and uses the KDE widgets for everything, including
buttons, toolbars, and file selector boxes. So in your case, the KDE file
selector is to blame. Whether it's a runtime or compile option or a bug,
that's yet another issue...
