Um, reality check: how exactly do we users "make this possible?" :)
Thunderbird comes to me without cost and without ads. I can't code my
way out of a paper bag and have never contributed even a snippet. I
rely on the kindness of strangers. That's true of probably 99% of all
Tbird users.
There are things I love and things I hate about every email software
program I've used over the past 20+ years. Thunderbird isn't perfect,
but it's the best I've seen. I think that's worth saying.
(For the record, I like tabs on top, but that's neither here nor there.)
