For what it is worth, I've been running libtiff-3.9.0 as built from the
CVS tree on a variety of Linux boxes running,
Fedora 8, 9, 10, 11 and Centos5, as well as AIX 5.3 for six months and I
have not had to rebuild any applications or seen any problems.
