While I've benefitted from the Linux releases, but mostly the product
design and model, the vieled threat that it was only a hobby/test case
left me feeling that LightCrafts will not support it.  Consider
Hamrick's VueScan, and LZ efforts seem too weak to justify trust from
end users of an application, willing to pay for products and services.
A 17 year user of FOSS and Linux, I know it's not free ;)

If LC doesn't see the Linux port as worthy by now, we Linux using folk
will move on.  Last thing I would do is both develop the business
model and then turn around and pay for my own work!  The weakest point
is not money... money's cheap, a means; it's vision that's expensive,
and something customers will pay others to share in that vision.

rgds,
Dave
