If you already do this (use bible to convert) you can easily upgrade
2.4 to 3.1 by just copying all java files. You will loose RAW options
and GUI will look not great but you will get all the options available
for linux users. It just proves how easy it is to port to linux, there
are just 2 small libs that lightcrafts would have to compile for linux
to give us full working latest version.
