I think there is a wiki for MH Ubuntu setup. ...although prior to Jaunty.
I don't think Insteon_PLM.pm relies on TK for anything. Disable TK in the
mh.private.ini.
The error pertains to $data, which appears to be undefined.
Have you enabled maximum Insteon debug logging?
