Re: Update: Czech Translation - Local User Autoresponder and Mail Forwarder PluginHi guys!
Thanks to Michal for his work and the SM team for accepting that. Only thing I wonder about is what made you ignore my translation of Local User Autoresponder and Mail Forwarder Plugin which I contributed on 12.3.2009 upon request from Martin Kedaj? Anyway, Michal, welcome among Czech translators! Tomas Drbohlav Fredrik Jervfors napsal(a): >>>> Your plugin is very useful hence I translated it into Czech. Find >>>> attached the translated files. Sorry about that. I am attaching it to this message and you can discuss which translation is best. The one from Michal is here now: http://squirrelmail.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/squirrelmail/trunk/locales/locale/cs_CZ/LC_MESSAGES/local_autorespond_forward.po?revision=13608&view=markup > Anyway, Michal, welcome among Czech translators! > > Tomas Drbohlav ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Register Now & Save for Velocity, the Web Performance & Operations Conference from O'Reilly Media. Re: Update: Czech Translation - Local User Autoresponder and Mail Forwarder PluginHello Tom,
unfortunatelly I couldn't find your translation hence I made my own. I checked your translation and it's good. When I was translating the text I tried to use common Czech terms for the computer specific stuff. I also tried to translate the text rather by its meaning than a translation word by word because the Czech language has different word order than English. Many of your translated senteces are better than mine. Nevetheless I can't agree with the term "Odpovidac", the term is very rare, the majority of email clients and wemail systems use "Automaticka odpoved". I would suggest a combination of both translation. If you agree I will prepare a draft so that you edit/approve it. Regards Michal Tomas Drbohlav napsal(a): > Hi guys! > > Thanks to Michal for his work and the SM team for accepting that.
