While the commits worked fine under 1.4, now I get the following message when
I try to commit:

Commit failed (details follow):
Server sent unexpected return value (403 Forbidden) in response to CHECKOUT
request for '/svn/locater/!svn/ver/117/trunk/entry.aspx'

I think I remember another earlier post on the mailing list talked about a change between 1.4 and 1.5 where the server was previously returning 401, which caused T-SVN to prompt for a username and password, whereas 1.5 was returning a 403, which was being interpreted as an error.  Is there anything in your SVN Server's error log?  I know for my Apache configuration, I can always see these errors in "error.log"

Are you getting this error in T-SVN or Visual SVN?
