Hi Christian
Here is my first question about problems with code licensing:
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_name=dxr3-devel&max_rows=25&style=nested&viewmonth=200711&viewday=6there is also answer, but question is still open for me. :( SDK consists of two parts: source code and binaries. Binaries implement so called hwlib, thereas source code implements user interface. The source code from SDK hadnt be used, all interfaces developed by me. The binary was disassemled and fully reversed :)
Im expecting That some reversed code may be similar to original from Sigma. The register naming was taken from sources from ucLinux. Sigma provided ucLinux by some patches. So I can claim that I havent seen any code from SDK and will publish my code under GPL :))
I have lots of reversed code concerning em8400,em847x,em85xx to anyone who asked me. Actually low-level programming part of all that chipsets is close to em8300, some things was taken from DXR3 :) Thx
I know that I have to rewrite my project under video4l interface and I do that later. The lack of time is only problem.
About ADV7175: I think the same developing of kernel driver is right way.
Sergey
