I have a similar problem with ASP.NET site to connect to oracle on mono.
Same error message with mono 1.9.1 Oracle 11g 64 bit on openSuse 10.3 64 bit
Since weeks Im playing around without success.
Does anyone use mono on linux with oracle ?
