Bill and Ted are the main characters from a HILARIOUS 1980's movie called _Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure_.  You should watch it when you get the chance; it is sooooo funny!  Bill and Ted are Valley Boys from San Dimas (a suburb of Los Angeles) who are in danger of failing their history class.  A mysterious figure from the future leads them on a time-traveling adventure so that they can meet famous historical figures and learn enough to pass their test.  They travel thru time in a telephone booth...it's kind of like Dr. Who, California style.  :)

When my husband was 14 years old one of his friends bet him that he couldn't watch this movie every day for a month.  My husband won the bet...and even though he has seen _Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure_ so many times, it is still one of his favorites.  So you can tell that it is really a good movie.  Oh, and Keanu Reeves, who is always fun to watch, plays Ted.
