He hee. I also got zee German invite. The site is functional, but agree that it could be beautified. (Thanks to Holger for dragging over our content). When we're satisfied that the new site has all content and looks reasonable (and remains spam free), I'll take down the old wiki.
As for 1.8... every day that I don't find time to do it I feel a bit more guilty...

PS - Thanks for the invite, Holger. My spam filter caught it since the invitation was in all German. But, it makes me feel like my time searching through my spam box is worth it when I find something every once in a while. ;-)
