Fairfax Cycles, on Spring Street in Fairfax, charges $35/off the bike and $50/ on the bike, for mounting tires, including balancing. Depending on their workload, same day service is available weekdays. Saturday is their while-u-wait mounting day.

I finally got around to dropping off my wheel and mail-order
tire at Ram Cycles in Rockville. They mounted and balanced
for $25; with a $2 tire disposal fee and tax, it came to around
$29 or so. I dropped it off on a Weds afternoon, and they asked
for "about 2 hrs" to get it done. I came back about 3 or 4 hrs
later, and it was ready to go.
