It works for me, at home (with my computer, which I run with
administrator rights), but, for instance, not at my University, where
students don't run the computers with administrator rights,but with very
heavy security restrictions (the can't access windows folder, for
instance). Any modification the do to the program settings (from "set
printback=off"  to font modification in syntax windows), is temporary,
and it is lost once the computer is shut down.
