You might try using build 4.3.0.7. You can find it here:
http://download.java.net/maven/2/com/sun/woodstock/webui-jsf/4.3.0.7/
That's the version we're using in GlassFish v3. If I recall correctly
it fixed many of the rendering problems, but I don't know for sure.
