I am getting this error

Detail	If the component name is specified as a return type, its possible that a definition file for the component cannot be found or is not accessible.
Message	The value returned from the fourqInit function is not of type fourq.

yeah - I was going to have one at a time.

i thought it might be an easy way to jump back a version if there were issues.

You could have a /farcry/core mapping - but it would only work for one core version at a time. To have both on the same instance you need to have a webroot installation.

/farcry/core -> /farcry/core5-1-6

Would I have to have a web server mapping (virtual direcory) too?

Would this work for farcry\plugins\farcrycms as well?
