Thanks for the info. I have several java-appls (JSR257) available/developed on other phones, but first wanted to check the T80 itself with an example application to get started. Only then, I do the next step of porting my appls. to the T80.

The VCard I tried is NFC compliant (NDEF/MIME-type, etc...),. It works on other phones/PC-appls. But the T80 simply does not react at all to any card.

Still need to find out how to check the JavaVM-version. I have received the phone on June 6th. The Image version is NFCDebug_080407_01_BenQ_TW_E21_LPR4_NFC_SHIP_LOG (build date April 1st 2008)
