Yes I did. Since some days I am looking for a solution to get jruby
working with SOAP Web Services. I have found some ways which come from
the Java-side: Axis2, Apache CXF or a Java Bridge. Unfortunately most
new frameworks use Java annotations which jruby is not supporting yet.
Some of the frameworks provide other ways which I will use.
What I miss is a way of handling these thing the "rails way".
Actionwebservice was such a way. I have the same opinion about
actionwebservice. Since it has been taken out of rails, no one seems to
be interested in it.
I think I will use Axis, CXF or another Java way. Maybe some day
someone will develop a Rails/Ruby way again =)
Thanks so far...

I still have the problem that I do not get running jRoR with
ActionWebService. I mentioned all the relevant points in the first mails.
Is anyone using ActionWebService with jRoR?
I guess your answer is "probably not". Since it was moved out of Rails
core, it seems like it's fallen into disrepair. Have you looked for
tutorials/etc online on how to use it?
