little workaround (to be fixed):

on linux systems, comment line

pref("toolkit.defaultChromeURI",
"chrome://jslib/content/jslib/content/aboutDialog.xul");

in file

.mozilla/firefox/1234abcd.default/extensions/{DF8E5247-8E0A-4de6-B393-0735A39DFD80}/defaults/preferences/prefs.js

(of course, 1234abcd is your profile code).
