Sorry for late, in China we had enjoy a holiday from 5.1 to 5.4.
As I know, konq-e do not support Qt4. Though things as you wrote, I
think WebKit is better for you.
Do some hack on Qt. ^_^

Maybe you also receive the message that people here is going to make konqE support Qt4, which makes clear that we can not the konqE for time being.
Porting WebKit on our board also takes time, but that is the decision project should make :)
