paul certainly sounded like he was after immediate action (which would
be great imho!)
personally, i can't do much atm due to time restrictions, but if there
is interest, i'd try and work towards a "future of netjack" BOF session
at LAC 2010, maybe write a paper on the current status as a starting
point for discussion (with a feature wishlist and some design
constraints) and try to work out a way of moving forward and getting
testers and contributors (possibly some production professionals,
manufacturers or other people with commercial interest) onboard.
i agree with paul that (net)?jack(trip)? has all the signs of becoming
a killer app, and that there is high demand in the industry for
packet-switched but still low latency audio. seamless WAN integration
with CELT is bound to rock the house...
