Well, I got it working by using the SID for the group instead of the group name.  The documentation states that either should be acceptable but apparently this is not correct in the current version.

Having a little trouble with ntlm authentication.  This line works:
 
ntlm_auth-helper "/usr/bin/ntlm_auth --helper-protocol=ntlm-server-1"
 
But this one does not:
 
ntlm_auth-helper "/usr/bin/ntlm_auth --helper-protocol=ntlm-server-1 --require-membership-of=MERCURY\\AdmVPNAccess"
The account I'm testing with was *definitely* added to the group.
