The Index window can display Turkish correctly if the
HHC and HHK files are converted to encoded text
Windows-1252 before compiling them into the CHM.
Ensure the text displays correctly. This is done
outside the HTML Help Workshop.

Hi Etienne,
Converting the text in the HHC and HHK to Windows 1252 would not be
possible, because the Turkish in the examples I am using contain a small
dotless i character.  That character appears in Windows 1254, but not in
Windows 1252.  What can I do with such characters in 1252?  I think that is
why Windows 1254 is required for Turkish.

Yes, sorry that is what I meant - convert the files to
Windows 1254. The same applies to other languages.
