I found the workaround for this. I had to disable the HTTP: Antivirus and Quickbooks is now able to updating. I also tried to white list the domains within the HTTP: Antivirus following the KB article (
http://kb.endian.com/entry/42/ ) and still no go.
Funny thing is that my wife was complaining the abc.com and nbc.com online tv shows was not working and sure enough once the HTTP: Antivirus was disabled these started to work as well.
Should this also be added to a bug report?
