read this page http://grinder.sourceforge.net/g3/getting-started.html#howtostart
and then try to use the following command to start the proxy:
java -cp %CLASSPATH% net.grinder.TCPProxy -console -http > grinder.py (windows)
java -cp $CLASSPATH net.grinder.TCPProxy -console -http > grinder.py (*nix)
you can set proxy address and port if you like.
the output that you got was echoing from the proxy telling you what it
was doing and the responses it was receiving. it was not the generated
script.
