I personally find the docBook name 'agr' less intuitive than MathML 'alpha'.

PS (But I note a space introduced before the lambda in the whole line from

[mode][floor ([lambda]) or [floor [lambda]]]

mode floor ( λ) or ⌊λ⌋.
