Well, like I stated I just wanted to get a hunch of what people think,
not so much an informed discussion. I think it is very clear now that
whatever choice we'll ultimately stick to, it will make part of our
user base unhappy, and might have to do some evangelizing to get the
changes accepted by everyone (or most) :-)
As for speculation... I don't agree. I haven't converted yet, but it
is easy enough to just look at any old piece of code I'm working on
now and imagine what it will look like after changing to 1.4.
