Re: very pretty 96 trophy on ebayMy lock for the trunk does not match the rest of the bike. Why? Simple reason the trunk was bought from a Triumph dealer a year after delivery of the bike. The dealer wanted a small fortune and my dirt born's right arm to make everything use the same key. I can live with a separate key for the trunk.. You should't be concearned though. It's my bike, and she is not for sale.

I was considering buying a new clutch basket for my 900 as my shifting feels kind of draggy, and the dealer (or bike bandit) is the only place available- at over $700. I can honestly say that in 30 years of working on cars, trucks, and bikes, i have never seen such a price. I mean this clutch basket is the same one in all the bikes sold before the 955 engine redesign in 97 isn't it? Luther [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Re: very pretty 96 trophy on ebayThanks, I'm not really worried about it. In my opinion it means I have
some more security. If someone were to get one key, the couldn't get into everything or start the bike. Probably uploaded by me as I think I was the first to do it. It's an easy job. Just watch out for the little springs that like to take a leap for the door when you give them a chance !
