Real time translation tools...Nadie habla español?

Yes your Kumaka community should be very interested in instant messaging language tools.  As of last June there were about 6 products.  Skype IP/phone also has a language translation plug in now.  I believe Google's is about the best of the free tools. I myself do not speak a word of Spanish. But we seem to be communicating ok.  http://translate.google.com/translate_t#  Several teams are now setting up translation avatar chatbots in the Second Life virtual world.   Contact the Second Life community about that.  Surely Apple has a Spanish version of the Iphone?  Soon real time translation tools will allow you to speak on the phone in one language and it will come out the other end in a different language.  (not your voice, computer substitute)
