I remember ecasound -i /dev/dsp -o test.wav works ok early (some years ago) for recording radio from tv-tuner and everething currently playing by soundcard.
Now under fedora 9 standart installation this record only microphone input and no other. Can I do something?

ecasound ('h' for help)> aio-register
...............
1. OSS soundcard device, regex: /dev/dsp[0-9]*, params: label
2. OSS soundcard device, regex: /dev/sound/dsp[0-9]*, params: label
3. Realtime null device, regex: ^rtnull$, params: label
4. ALSA PCM device, regex: (^alsahw_09$)|(^alsaplugin_09$), params:
... label,card,device,subdevice
5. ALSA named PCM device, regex: ^alsa_09$, params: label,pcm_name
6. ALSA PCM device, regex: ^alsahw$, params: label, card, device, subdevice
7. ALSA PCM device, regex: ^alsaplugin$, params: label, card, device, subdevice
8. ALSA named PCM device, regex: ^alsa$, params: label,pcm_name

Tested also - alsa,alsahw,alsaplugin instead /dev/dsp - no effect/
