Release not happening today?

Hi,
Is 1.7-beta-2 release not happening today also?

Are GSE implementation issues still there? Just curious.

Yup, Jochen and I are still on it.
We've discovered some issue after another, and we should be mostly done now.

Little update.

So with the latest commit, we should be good now:
http://fisheye.codehaus.org/changelog/groovy/trunk/groovy?cs=17960

Jochen tested it locally on a servlet container.
I've also tested it with Google App Engine's development servlet
container, and also deployed a test app on their cloud.
All our (yet manual) tests work fine so far.

So we're good to do the release, which will start shortly!
