Releasing stamps w/o a new Tux Paint?

Do people think it would make sense to release a new Stamps collection
some time soon (rather than wait until after Google Summer of Code has
wrapped up).

Nothing in Tux Paint has changed that would affect Stamps (e.g., no new
stamp features in the code), and we've gotten a LOT of contributions since
the last release.

So far, nearly 80 new stamps have been added, tons of stamps were updated,
and 8 translations have been updated.

Any problem with me rolling up a tarball some time soon?

Thx,

Just tell us (specially translators) with anticipation if a release will be
made so we can make sure we translate all the new ones before the deadline.

Release early, release often. ;-)
http://catb.org/~esr/writings/cathedral-bazaar/cathedral-bazaar/ar01s04.html

Of course, a little heads up (i.e. a week or two notice) of the
release would be nice.  Perhaps an art freeze date, and translators
can verify that the new art is up to date, and then a release.

Best Regards,

Steve
