I hope we'll be seeing you at NYCFUG (
http://www.nycfug.org) tonight when Michael Dinowitz, CTO of Dinowitz and Associates, Inc. and head of House of Fusion, explains the overwhelmingly important subject of Query Caching. A properly written application has certain information cached into memory. The question of when and how to cache this information is one that can baffle even experienced programmers. This presentation will examine three approaches to the caching of ColdFusion queries and all related issues.
There will also be giving a short entry-level presentation on comparison statements in ColdFusion (CFIF).
The presentation is in Hall C, not Coles 101, and we've put up directions to the new room on the site at
http://www.nycfug.org/directions_Hall_C.htm. Please RSVP at
http://www.nycfug.org if you haven't yet to let us know that you're coming!
