I have completed the repackaging for the proposed move to Apache
Geronimo. If Apache Geronimo accepts the donation the code should be
in a state compliant with the IP Clearance Check list. The change
was so large that an SVN notification email was not sent out. Here
is the commit message:
http://svn.xbean.org/?view=rev&rev=199Repackaged to org.apache.xbean
Changed generic copyright notice to official Apache notice
Added LICENSE.txt and NOTICE.txt files
I have asked David Blevins and the LogicBlaze fellows to replace
their copyright notices with the standard Apache notice. Other than
that, the code should be clean.
*** Please, do me a favor and try to build the code, verify that I
haven't missed any steps in the conversion, and that the IP clearance
checklist is accurate. This will make the donation evaluation
process and eventual up or down decision happen quickly. For those
of you that missed it, you can find the clearance checklist here:
https://svn.codehaus.org/xbean/xbean-ip-clearance.htmlIf Apache Geronimo ultimately decides not to accept the donation, I
will rollback these changes.
If/when you check out the code, please let me know publicly on this
list.
