Replacing a task in a project

I see that Project.createTask is deprecated.  However what is the new
technique of achieving the goal of replace and existing task with a new
one, and should the documentation associated with Project not use
createTask but instead whatever the new idioms are?

I have changed the delegation example in the Project javadoc to not  
use createTask any longer.
