Replacing keyboard+guard

Hello,

A good friend is trying to find a replacement for her keyboard and guard
(see attached). The manufacturer stopped making them.

The keyboard has a smaller footprint then a regular one but the keys are
just as big/high-profiled, which is important to her.

Any leads for alternatives would be great.

All the best

As Ed says, Turning Point are the folks to go to for custom key guards.

As for the keyboard, most of what you'll find out there are the
SolidTek ACK 595 models (Adesso puts its name on there, as do others)
it varies from about $31 to $80 depending on where you buy it. Others
will have even lower profile keys. Also, uou will note that they add
a windows key and more putting 5 keys to the left of the space bar
and 6 to the right, making the keys along the bottom
smaller.http://www.altex.com/Mini-8889-Key-Keyboard-USB-White-ACK-595U-P139518.aspx

If your friend is really keen on the older PS/2 model that is shown,
this is the SIIG MiniTouch, which is apparently still available.

hope that helps,
